Despite such efforts, the North East still roots for Congress and Aam Admi Party. Even after making a huge pitch to woo voters in the NE and asking his Ministers to tour the states, BJP's CM candidate Kiran Bedi has been unable to woo the young voters from North East. With safety of women and action against racism in mind, the Northeastern population in the national capital got themselves registered as voters in Delhi so that their vote would make a difference, irrespective of how short in number they are.
